A church founded on the love of God, focused on seeking His Presence and experiencing a great revival through the power of the Holy Spirit.
A community of Jesus worshipers, committed to hearing God's voice and declaring His favor over people's lives.

The Pastors
Pastor João and Gena Carvalho
We are the pastors and founders of the Open Heavens church in the city of Coimbra. We are from Coimbra, and we have two beautiful daughters, Catarina and Francisca, who serve God with us at Open Heavens. Our greatest pleasure is to worship God and seek His presence, and our hearts burn for Coimbra and to bring Jesus to our city. After a few years serving in other cities, in 2013 God brought us back to be an integral part of something powerful and impactful that comes from heaven and is already happening in Coimbra. God loves this city and so do we!
